For the past year I have worked in the Marketing Department at the Horseshoe Casino & Hotel as an intern. I recently got hired full time as the Entertainment Coordinator. I am so excited!! This will be a great opportunity for me and I will get to experience many neat things.
In May I will be graduating with a BA in Marketing from LSU-Shreveport. My senior year I was selected for the Outstanding Marketing Student Award and was also inducted into the Honor Societies of Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma.
Also during my senior year at LSU-S I help to found a collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association. I served as the chapter President for the remaining of the year. Being a part of this organization was a great experience and allowed me become more involved at LSU-S and meet many great people. We participated in activities that benefited our members, the community and the school. We also got to attend the AMA International Collegiate Conference in New Orleans, which was lots of fun.
